What is happening?
Zenoss Community Day will happen on Friday September 25th, 2009 at 9:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. Joining the excitement of the Ohio LinuxFest, Zenoss Community day will occur at Hyatt Regency Columbus.So, what is the Zenoss Community Day all about?
Zenoss will be offering a free training session to help Zenoss community members install and use the award-winning open source network monitoring tool, Zenoss Core. The class will be led by our Community Manager, Matt Ray and Zenoss Support Engineer, Nathaniel McCallum. We would like everyone that leaves the event to have a good understanding of how Zenoss works and to be able to successfully manage their network using Zenoss award-winning open source tools. It is so awesome that Mark Hinkle blogged all about it!

Go tell your boss to send you. Trust me, it's going to work. Be sure to mention that it is FREE! All you need to do is sign up and Register for the Enthusiast or Supporter pass.
What you should tell your boss about the Zenoss Community Day?
You will spend the day learning about Zenoss Core, an open-source network monitoring and server monitoring product. Currently the most popular IT Management project on SourceForge.Net, Zenoss Core source code is available for free downloads. Imagine monitoring Network, Server, and Application with a single product. This will allow you and your boss to get a graphical view of all of your important infrastructure nodes.

What ever you do, make sure you do not miss the Ohio LinuxFest Zenoss Pre-Party at Barleys at 8 PM. Don't stay up too late because there is another full day of Ohio LinuxFest fun on Saturday September 26 and be sure to stop by the Zenoss expo booth for more surprises!
