Submit a Talk for the Ohio LinuxFest 2013

Here you can submit a proposal for a talk at the Ohio LinuxFest 2013.

Talks are 50 minutes, generally 40 minutes with 10 minutes for questions.

We seek talks in a huge variety of subjects, for people who range from experts to those seeking to learn what Free and Open Source Software is.

The call for talk proposals closes on July 8, 2013.

Please describe what you will be talking about, plus descriptions of anything special you will be doing to give your talk (ex. demo, live examples, extra speakers, etc.)

We will be using this to contact you. Please do not use a throwaway account.

If we need to contact you by phone we will try to call during these times.

Tell us a little about yourself, including what makes you knowledgeable in this area.

If you've spoken at any other conferences, user groups, or any other gathering, please state so here. If available, please include links to copies of slides, recordings, or videos.

NOTE: The Ohio LinuxFest encourages new speakers. Previous experience is NOT required for being accepted as a speaker.

A few select talks are offered on Friday as part of the Early Penguins track.

Please read the Ohio LinuxFest speaker release here: http://sourceforge.net/projects/ohiolinuxfest/files/OLF-speaker_agreement.odt/download.

If your talk is accepted you are bound to the terms in the agreement. Please read it carefully.

Note: A 'no' answer (a refusal to accept the speaker release) with no explanation may cause us to refuse your proposal.

This is completely your choice and will not be used to determine talk selection.
