2021 Registration

The OLF Conference is proud to announce that we will hold our 19th annual event in Columbus, Ohio on December 3 and 4, 2021. OLF welcomes all Free and Open Source Software professionals, enthusiasts, and everyone interested in learning more about Free and Open Source Software. Because of COVID restrictions, on-site attendance is limited. For this reason, we are for the first time charging a fee for the “Enthusiast” level registration to reduce no-shows. (In the past, about 50% of registrants were no-shows, which is not something we can have this year.) Online attendance remains at “name your own price.” If cost is a concern, you could also consider volunteering to help out at the event.

Before registering for an in-person ticket, be sure to review our COVID safety plan and attendance policy first – it sets out requirements you will need to follow. Note that you must register in advance; walk-ins will not be taken. Ticket sales will close at 7:00pm Eastern time on November 29 or when ticket inventory runs out, whichever comes first.

The following table shows what you get with each registration level:

OLF Institute Professional Pass Supporter Enthusiast
Early Penguin talks
OLFI Professional training sessions
Lunch (Friday and Saturday)
Keynotes and talks
Happy hours
Souvenir T-shirt no longer available no longer available no longer available

Note that the t-shirt order has been placed and it is not possible to make new orders for on-site pickup at the event. We are planning to set up an online ordering option which will ship t-shirts to you. Stay tuned if you would like one.

If you are registering for any of the following OLF Institute training programs, please make sure to select the appropriate bundle on the registration form.

  • Introduction to Kubernetes and OpenShift for Systems Administrators (Friday, December 3)
  • Linux Professional Institute (LPI) Boot Camp (Friday, December 3)

We are also offering two-class OLF Institute bundles, if you would like to take classes on both days.

  • Introduction to Kubernetes and OpenShift for Systems Administrators plus Linux Automation with Ansible

The Online Only Pass will let you access our streamed content, including the Early Penguin Talks, keynotes, and at least one track of talks on Saturday. Other activities, such as a virtual expo, may become available. We are still working out the details.

We are looking forward to seeing you in December!
