Cathy Malmrose to Keynote Ohio LinuxFest 2011

Ohio LinuxFest is excited to announce that Cathy Malmrose, co-founder of ZaReason.com, will be a keynote speaker at this year's Conference and Expo.

Cathy, along with her husband Earl, founded an optimized-for-Linux computer company in early 2007 after a complete and joyous conversion to Ubuntu. The switch provided such a distinct improvement in quality of life that Cathy began creating a company structure that would put muscle behind building hardware that showcases the sturdiness of free and open software. She is combining the market reach of an online store with the accessibility of local little self-sustaining stores to allow people to touch, see, and feel the computers they use for their mission critical work.

Before ZaReason.com, Cathy founded a non-profit, Partimus.org to support computers in education. She initially began in curriculum development, technical writing, and software development.

The Ohio LinuxFest is an annual conference dedicated to Free & Open Source Software. This year is our ninth annual conference.
