Yes?

You're a Linux user and you have a Linux machine without Linux on it and you want to know if you should install Linux?

Answer is yes.

Are you asking if you should bring a machine to the LinuxFest and install there?

Answer is also yes. There will be lots of free install disks or DVDs there.

Not sure if that answers the question, but i don't really understand the question.

To be clear, you may have a challenge finding power and space to do an install w/ a machine. If you are staying at a Hotel, you may be able to use the resources there, but do not count on being able to find power/space to setup a machine at the GCC itself. OLF isn't really setup to be an installfest event, but as the previous poster commented, there will be plenty of CD and DVD distributions flying around so you'll be able to pick up several of them and try them in the comfort of your own living room.

You may fair better if the machine that you are trying to install is a laptop, but I cringe at the thought of people lugging in monitors and PCs to the show floor expecting to have space available for an install.

You MAY want to check w/ the various groups that are exhibiting (Ubuntu, Fedora etc..) as some of them may offer to work with you on an install at their booth and/or at least demonstrate one on the equipment they bring.
