Ohio LinuxFest expands with Friday tutorial program called "OLFU"

The Ohio LinuxFest [1] is pleased to announce that it will be partnering with
D. L. Corbet & Associates [2] and LOPSA, the League of Professional System
Administrators
[3] for a tutorial program called OLFU. [4]

Tutorials will give OLFU students a more intense and personal learning experience on Friday September 28. The traditional Ohio LinuxFest conference will take place on Saturday September 29.

D. L. Corbet & Associates will be sending Don "The Linux Guy" Corbet [5] to teach a full day cram class for LPI, the Linux Professional Institute's [6] level one certification progam. [7] Don was one of four technical reviews acknowledged in O'Reilly's [8] LPI Linux Certification in a Nutshell, 2nd Edition [9] and is a nationally recognized Linux professional trainer. [10] For those who choose to pursue the LPI level one certification at the Ohio LinuxFest can do so for a discounted rate on Sunday afternoon on September 30. [11]

LOPSA [12] will bring several highly qualified system administrators who are experienced tutorial instructors [13] to teach several tracks. Topics include server administration, security and information technology professional issues.

For the price of $300, OLFU will provide a full day of training, breakfast, and lunch. A discounted price of $285 will be extended to those who have registered for the Ohio LinuxFest "All Conference Pass." [14] The OLFU registration system along with the schedule, full tutorial descriptions and instructor biographies will be available shortly.
